Chapter 01

The First Date

Who knew one like on Hinge would lead us here?

In July 2024, we matched on Hinge and took a chance on a first date in Carpinteria. We wandered through the little beach town, enjoyed ice cream, strolled along the shore and talked for hours. By the end of the date, we both knew we'd be planning a second one.

At the time, we were living about an hour and a half apart — Ashlee in Bakersfield and Adam in Los Angeles. The miles between us didn't make things easy, but they made us appreciate every moment we got to spend together. After a year of long drives, countless phone calls and making every weekend count, we finally got to start our next chapter when Ashlee moved to LA.

Chapter 02

The Adventures

Our favorite place isn't somewhere on a map — it's wherever we're together.

If you know us, you know we're pretty much opposites in the best way. Adam has a fearless, adventurous side that inspires us to step outside our comfort zones, while Ashlee is usually the voice of reason (or at least the one reminding him to slow down… occasionally). Adam's confidence has made Ashlee braver than she ever thought she'd be, and Ashlee's calm keeps Adam grounded. Somehow, it just works.

Whether we're dancing the night away, traveling, throwing a football on the beach, or simply laughing until our stomachs hurt — through every adventure, big or small, we've become each other's biggest cheerleaders.

Home

We both waited a long time to find the person who felt like home.

Finding each other was worth every second of the wait. We are so grateful for the love, laughter and life we've built together — and so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
